Peekr is an anonymous truth-or-dare app. You post a confession, people vote on who they think wrote it, and they spend in-game currency to unmask you. It's live on the web in 5 languages and sitting in closed testing on Google Play. I've built it solo and it has never met a room full of strangers what I want to learn is whether the loop survives when nobody already knows each other.
The problem
The interesting half of a night out the questions people only answer once they're comfortable dies with the evening, or ends up in a group chat nobody rereads. Anonymity is what makes people answer honestly; guessing who wrote it is what makes it a game.
Who it is for
18+ groups who already play this kind of game in person. On the public feed, anyone who wants to say something without their name on it and watch strangers try to guess.
Where it stands today
Web is live and genuinely works: posting, voting, unmasking, private groups with chat, party mode, shop, subscriptions. Android is a TWA in closed testing blocked on Google's 12-tester rule, not on code. Payments are Stripe on web, Play Billing in the app. Moderation is a local filter plus Mistral, with Rekognition on avatars capped at 50 checks a month, which will not survive real traffic. The
What comes next
Clear Play production review. Then the cold start: seed enough truths that a new user lands on something worth answering, an invite link that survives being pasted into a group chat, a Discord bot. Organic before paid.

The first five minutes, as a stranger. Open the web app, read the feed, post one truth. Two things I can't judge from the inside: does guessing who wrote a confession give you any reason to come back tomorrow, or is it a one-shot novelty? And would you actually type something true into it or would you hedge and post something safe? If you'd hedge, that's the answer I most need: tell me what mad
